Dan Moeller

Dan Moeller has over two decades of experience in conservation and natural resource management. As the Conservation Program Director at Metro since September 2010, Dan has also served as the Interim Director and Natural Areas Land Manager. Prior experience includes roles as Natural Areas Supervisor for Portland Parks and Recreation and Curator at Hoyt Arboretum with the City of Portland from February 2001 to August 2010. Dan's career began at the Chicago Botanic Garden, where a position as Manager of Display Gardens was held from August 1999 to February 2001. Dan holds a Master of Public Administration in Natural Resources Policy from Portland State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental, Population, and Organismic Biology from the University of Colorado Boulder.
