Christoph Mayer has a wide range of work experience in various roles and industries. Christoph started their career as a Civilian Service intern at Arbeiter-Samariter-Bund Österreichs in 2001. From 2002 to 2006, they held multiple part-time jobs while attending university. In 2006, they worked as an intern at Gewußt wie wellness beauty reg. GmbH. Christoph then served as an Operations Manager at CAR Gasthausbetriebs GmbH from 2006 to 2008 and at TT & BK Gastronomiebetrieb GmbH from 2009 to 2010. Christoph joined REWE Group as a Store Manager AGM (Cash and Carry) in 2010. At METRO AG, they held several positions including Floor Manager, Deputy Store Manager, Category Manager FMCG, Senior Department Manager Store Operations, Store Manager, and most recently, Head of Operations Management (Business Excellence I Business Development I Food Service Delivery). This included responsibilities such as full P&L management, business process optimization, corporate strategy and business development, and technical supervision of employees.

Christoph Mayer's education history is as follows:

In 1998-1999, Christoph attended Chosen Hill School in Gloucester, England, where they completed their 6th form education.

In 2002, Christoph studied at the University of Vienna, focusing on the Faculty of Law.

From 2003 to 2010, Christoph pursued a degree in Business Administration with a focus on small and medium enterprises and transport and logistics at WU (Vienna University of Economics and Business), earning a Magister degree.

In 2008, Christoph participated in the International Summer University program at Vadym Hetman Kyiv National Economic University in Kiew, Ukraine, where they focused on Logistic & Supply Chain Management.

Also in 2008, Christoph attended the Competence Center for Central & Eastern Europe program at WU (Vienna University of Economics and Business), specializing in Master Class CEE.

In 2011, Christoph completed an apprenticeship trainer program at the Wirtschaftsförderungsinstitut Wien, acquiring the title of apprentice trainer (§29gBAG).

Additionally, in 2017, Christoph participated in Sensitivity Training, focusing on Group Dynamics, at the ÖAGG (Österreichischer Arbeitskreis für Gruppentherapie und Gruppendynamik).

Most recently, in 2021, Christoph attended Six Sigma College Düsseldorf, obtaining a Six Sigma Master Black Belt certification.
