Dr. Jana Baumann

Dr. Jana Baumann is currently the Head of Legal M&A at METRO AG since September 2023. Prior to this role, Dr. Baumann served as a Senior Associate in Corporate/M&A at Noerr from October 2015 to August 2023, where involvement included founding the Japan Desk. Additional experience at Noerr includes a position as a part-time scientific employee and legal trainee, along with prior legal internships at ARQIS and the Federal Foreign Office of Germany. Dr. Baumann's academic credentials include a law degree from the University of Münster and study at Niigata University, with ongoing education at FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg.
