Sinem Ugur

Sinem Ugur currently serves as the Head of Competition & Compliance at METRO AG, a position held since April 2022. Previous experience includes roles at ELIG Gürkaynak Attorneys-at-Law, progressing from Attorney-at-Law to Counsel, focusing on competition law and trade remedies from April 2012 to March 2022. Sinem also worked as a Legal Consultant at ACTECON Competition & Regulation Consultancy from November 2013 to February 2016, specializing in competition law, international trade, and government affairs. Sinem's early career featured positions in various law firms, including summer and legal internships, gaining exposure to corporate law, arbitration, and intellectual property law. Sinem holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from İstanbul Ticaret Üniversitesi, awarded in 2011.
