Barton Lowrey

Barton Lowrey currently serves as the Vice President of Community Development at the Metro Atlanta Chamber, focusing on job recruitment and investment retention within the Metro Atlanta region. Prior experience includes various leadership roles in economic development at the Georgia Department of Economic Development, where Barton held positions from Project Manager to Director of Statewide and Industrial Projects. Additional roles include Development Director at the Atlanta Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America and Advancement Officer at Darlington School. Earlier career experiences include serving as a Field Representative and Constituent Services Representative for U.S. Senator Johnny Isakson, alongside an internship, and a summer associate role at The LS Group, Inc. Barton holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Real Estate and a Bachelor of Science in Education in Sports Management from The University of Georgia, complemented by a high school diploma from Darlington School.
