John Olden

John Olden is a seasoned IT and telecommunications professional with extensive experience in network engineering and management. Currently serving as a Senior Network Engineer at Metro Communications Co. since March 2022, John previously held roles such as Manager of Phone Systems at Consolidated Communications and Service & Installation Manager at Champaign Telephone Company. John’s expertise encompasses the purchase, setup, and maintenance of computer systems, printers, and network infrastructure, as well as administration of Exchange server and Windows Active Directory. Additionally, John has coordinated major community events through volunteer leadership roles in the Champaign County Freedom Celebration and has a diverse background in technical maintenance, youth athletics, and project management. Education was pursued in Computer Network Administration at Parkland College.
