Jasmine Hernandez offers six years of experience in marketing, fundraising, and education. In her recent entrepreneurial role as partner of Status Group Marketing, she built the business development, operations, and staffing departments, doubling all client revenue for two consecutive years. As a first-generation college graduate, Ms. Hernandez’s professional experience is driven by her passion for education equity and social impact. Prior to her role at Status Group, she served in the development department at La Casa Norte, whose mission is to serve youth and families confronting homelessness. At La Casa Norte, Ms. Hernandez developed and led strategies for donor relations and event management, co-fundraising over $400,000 annually. A prior educator at her alma mater – The Noble Network – Ms. Hernandez counseled over 300 students to develop 4-year post-secondary plans, leading the students to pursue higher education. She sits on multiple philanthropic advisory boards and is a member of the Chicago Latino Caucus Foundation’s Academy. Ms. Hernandez holds a B.A. from Cornell College.
