Cristian Leiva

Cristian Leiva currently serves as the Deputy Chief People Officer for Labor and Employee Relations at Los Angeles Metro, a position held since January 2022. Prior to this role, Cristian Leiva was the Registered In-House Counsel for Teamsters Local 911 from May 2015 to January 2022. Cristian Leiva's experience also includes serving as the Assistant Fund Manager for Teamsters Local 727 Benefit Funds and as a Business Representative for Teamsters Local 727, where responsibilities included managing grievance hearings and assisting in arbitration and strike proceedings. Earlier in the career, Cristian Leiva worked as an Associate Attorney at Sanchez Daniels & Hoffman LLP, leading a pro-bono employment law program. Cristian Leiva holds a J.D. from Northern Illinois University College of Law and a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Illinois Chicago.
