Karen Harrison

Karen Harrison, TSSP, currently serves as the Director of Rail Operations at Los Angeles Metro since January 2017, where previous experience includes the role of Transportation Manager - Rail. Prior to this, Karen held various positions at Chicago Transit Authority from October 2006 to January 2017, including Senior Manager Transportation Manager, overseeing operations of four terminals with 818 employees and a fleet of 494 rolling stock, serving 67 million passengers. Earlier career experience includes roles at the City of Chicago, such as Transportation Manager, Safety Officer, and Airport Operations Supervisor from June 1991 to January 2000. Karen holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Aeronautical Administration from St. Louis University.
