Julie Travis

Julie Travis is an experienced educator with a robust career in leadership and teaching at Metro Nashville Public Schools since July 2004, serving in roles such as Principal, Assistant Principal, Literacy Coach, and Teacher in Reading, Language Arts, and Physical Science. Julie also contributed to TNTP from May 2009 to July 2013, where responsibilities included Fellow Advisor, Field Experience Manager, and Seminar Leader, focusing on training and evaluating preservice teachers. Julie earned a Master of Education in Administration from Tennessee State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Education from Ohio Northern University.
