Rommie Vasser

Rommie Vasser, Ed.D., serves as a School Principal at Metro Nashville Public Schools since July 2014, following a progressive career in education that includes roles as Assistant Principal and Instructional Coach. Prior experience includes serving as Principal at Shelby County Schools and Memphis City Schools, where Vasser also held the position of Assistant Principal. Earlier in the career, Vasser worked as a Special Education Teacher at Memphis City Schools and Metro Nashville Public Schools. Vasser earned a Doctor of Education in Administrative Leadership and an Education Specialist degree in Educational Leadership from Carson-Newman University and holds a Master of Education in Educational Administration and Supervision, as well as a Bachelor of Business Administration from Tennessee State University.
