William Shaw

William Shaw has a diverse work experience that spans various roles and industries. William began their career in 2005 as an Infantry in the United States Marine Corps, where they served for four years. In 2012, they interned as a Private Wealth Tax Intern at Deloitte Tax LLP while also working as an Instructional Assistant at the University of Houston. William joined Deloitte Tax LLP full-time in 2013 as a Private Wealth Tax Staff Consultant and progressed to become a Private Wealth Tax Senior Consultant in 2015 and a Private Wealth Tax Manager in 2017. In 2019, they transitioned to MetroNational as a Tax Manager, and they currently hold the position of Director of Tax as of October 2021.

William Shaw began their education in 2010 at the University of Houston, C.T. Bauer College of Business, where they pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Accounting. After completing their undergraduate degree in 2012, they continued their studies at the same institution and obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Accounting in 2013. Following their academic achievements, in 2014, William enrolled at the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy, where they pursued further certification to become a Licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA). The program lasted until 2025, indicating that they completed the CPA requirements within this time frame.
