Jennifer Tangco

Vice President, Centre Of Excellence at Metro Supply Chain Group Inc.

Jennifer Tangco has extensive experience in supply chain management and operational excellence. Jennifer began their career at Mercedes-Benz Canada as a Coordinator, where they managed corporate training and events. Jennifer then moved on to QLogitek as a Manager of Corporate Services, responsible for customer service and vendor management. Jennifer then joined Maple Leaf Foods as a Manager of Six Sigma, leading the implementation of process improvement initiatives and achieving significant cost savings. After that, they worked at Rogers Communications as a Senior Consultant, focusing on continuous improvement. Jennifer then joined comScore, Inc. as a Director of Process Efficiency, before moving to Sears Canada, where they held the position of Divisional Vice President of Supply Chain and Logistics. In this role, they oversaw the entire supply chain function for the company. Jennifer then transitioned to Metro Supply Chain, first as a Management Consultant for CPG Transformation, and later as the Head of Supply Chain Operational Excellence and PMO. Currently, Jennifer is serving as the Vice President of Centre of Excellence at Metro Supply Chain, leading the establishment and transformation of the supply chain function across the organization.

Jennifer Tangco's education history includes studying Business Management and Operations at the University of Toronto School of Continuing Studies. Jennifer also obtained a certification as a Life Coach from the Certified Coaches Federation. Additionally, Jennifer is a Certified Change Management Practitioner from PROSCI. In July 2022, they obtained the Prosci® Certified Change Practitioner certification from Prosci.
