Vivian Fleet has over 10 years of experience in various roles related to operations and sustainability. Vivian most recently worked as the Vice President of Operations at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, where they had previously served as the Director of Operations and Manager of Sustainability & Cleaning Services. Prior to joining the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, Vivian worked as a Sustainability Officer and Sustainability Coordinator. Additionally, they worked as a Policy Advisor at the Ontario Ministry of the Environment and Climate Change for a brief period.
Vivian Fleet, MASc, has a strong educational background in environmental science and management. Vivian obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Chemistry and Biology from Ryerson University, where they studied from 2003 to 2007. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued a Master's degree in Environmental Applied Science and Management at the same university, completing their studies from 2008 to 2010.
In addition to their academic achievements, Vivian has also obtained certifications in the field. Vivian received the BOMA BEST Platinum certification from BOMA Toronto in March 2017 for their knowledge and expertise in sustainable building operations. In November 2014, they achieved the LEED for Existing Building: Operations & Maintenance - GOLD certification from the Canada Green Building Council - CaGBC, showcasing their commitment to environmentally-friendly practices in the maintenance and operation of buildings.
