Mia De Ala serves as the Executive Pastry Chef at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre since December 2013, overseeing high-quality pastry production. Concurrently, Mia De Ala is a Pastry Chef Instructor at George Brown College Continuing Education, teaching a broad range of pastry arts, including cakes, breads, and chocolate confections. Previous experience includes roles as Pastry Chef at Old Mill Inn and Spa and Rubywathco, as well as a significant tenure as 1st Pastry Cook at Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, where Mia De Ala excelled in policy enforcement, client relations, and staff management. Educational background includes studies at George Brown College, Callebaut Academy, Melissa Coppel, and The French Pastry School, equipping Mia De Ala with extensive pastry skills and knowledge.
