Donna Wooten

Donna Wooten is the Senior Director of Development at Metro United Way. Donna has over 20 years of experience in the real estate, banking, and healthcare industries.

Donna started their career in 1990 as a Finance Analyst at Humana. Donna provided support to the Healthcare Operations team and was quickly promoted to Realtor at Schuler Bauer Real Estate in 2000. Donna was named Rookie of the Year in 2001 after selling $1Million of property. In 2002, they transitioned to Bank One Ltd where they worked in the Mortgage Loan Division as a Loan Specialist during the peak real estate investment period. Donna also worked in Branch Operations with the Vice President overseeing training and branch support needs.

In their current role at Metro United Way, Donna is responsible for leading the organization’s fundraising efforts. Under their leadership, Metro United Way has set records for both individual and corporate giving. Donna is a passionate advocate for the community and is committed to making a difference in the lives of others.

Donna Wooten has a degree in business from Indiana University Southeast.

They are on a team with Stacy Neely - Development Assistant, Kelsey Harris - SM of Leadership Giving, and Sabeen Nasim - Director, Major & Legacy Gifts. Their manager is David Lopez, Chief Development Officer.
