Amanda McCuaig

Amanda McCuaig, APR, serves as the Director of Communications at Metro Vancouver since August 2020, leading a department focused on innovative behavior-change campaigns, media relations, and communications for significant infrastructure projects aimed at supporting climate action, reconciliation, and equity. Prior to this role, Amanda held various positions at the Vancouver Fraser Port Authority and the City of Vancouver, including Manager of Project Communications and Communications Manager (Engineering), where management of communications for major infrastructure initiatives and public engagement was paramount. Experience also includes marketing and communications roles at the Museum of Vancouver and Science World British Columbia, along with leadership positions in independent consulting and non-profit sectors. Amanda earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Simon Fraser University, supplemented by a Publishing minor.
