Mel Cheesman

Mel Cheesman currently serves as Lead Legal Counsel (Corporate) and was previously Legal Counsel at Metro Vancouver since September 2023. Prior experience includes roles as General Manager and Director of Corporate Services, as well as Lands Solicitor at the City of Delta from May 2016 to September 2023. Prior to that, Mel Cheesman worked as Solicitor and Counsel at BC Hydro and held various legal positions at Corix Group of Companies and Corix Infrastructure Inc. Mel Cheesman began a legal career as an Associate at Bull, Housser & Tupper. Mel Cheesman earned a Juris Doctor (JD) from the University of Victoria and completed undergraduate education at The University of British Columbia.
