Shuh Chan

Shuh Chan, P.Eng, is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in fleet management and mechanical engineering. Currently serving as the Division Manager of Fleet Services at Metro Vancouver since January 2019, Shuh Chan oversees the management of fleet assets and prepares the annual fleet capital plan. Previously, during tenure at the City of Vancouver from 2016 to December 2018 as an Equipment Management Engineer, responsibilities included aligning corporate priorities with strategic plans and overseeing a capital budget of up to $43 million. Shuh Chan also held the position of Senior Mechanical Engineer at the City of Vancouver from 2002 to 2015, where expertise in vehicle and equipment technicalities was utilized to support emergency services and lead a significant project for the procurement of large fire apparatus. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of British Columbia, obtained from 1997 to 2002.
