Shawn Baird has a diverse and extensive work experience in the ambulance industry. Shawn began their career in 1990 as a Co-Owner of Woodburn Ambulance Service, Inc., where they managed a team of EMTs and Paramedics and provided Advanced Life Support EMS ambulance services to multiple communities in Marion County, Oregon. Their role at Woodburn Ambulance Service continued until 2019.
In 2007, Baird also worked as a Principal at Giard-Baird Associates until 2016. This experience allowed him to develop further expertise in the industry.
In 2019, Baird joined Metro West Ambulance as the Vice President of Rural Services. Shawn then progressed to the role of Chief Operating Officer in 2020 and later became the Chief Executive Officer in 2022.
