Adam Weir

Adam Weir is an experienced professional currently serving as the Lead Family Coordinator for Healthy Transitions at Metrocare Services since April 2024. Prior to this role, Adam completed a Graduate Level Internship in Cultural Wellness & Advocacy at The University of Texas at Arlington, focusing on outreach and advocacy for the LGBTQIA population. Adam held multiple positions at Denton County Friends of the Family, providing crisis intervention and support for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. Earlier, Adam gained extensive experience in the hospitality industry, holding various roles in front office management and sales coordination across multiple hotel properties. Adam holds a Master of Social Work from The University of Texas at Arlington and a Bachelor of Arts in Integrative Studies from the University of North Texas, along with an Associate's degree from MiraCosta College.
