Dr. Narender Rao Somisetti

Dr. Narender Rao Somisetti has over 22 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Dr. Narender Rao is currently serving as the Vice President of R&D at Metrochem API Private Limited. Prior to this, Dr. Somisetti worked at Lupin Limited as the General Manager and Head of API Process Development for five years. Dr. Narender Rao also held the role of Chief Manager of R&D at Piramal Enterprises Limited from 2013 to 2015. In addition, they have experience as an Assistant General Manager of R&D at Nagarjuna Agrichem Ltd and as a Manager of R&D at Srini Pharmaceuticals Ltd. Dr. Somisetti began their career as a Research Chemist at Dr. Reddy's Laboratories and has also worked at GVK BIO and Oman Chemicals and Pharmaceuticals Ltd. Their extensive work experience spans various roles in research and development within the pharmaceutical industry.

Dr. Narender Rao Somisetti completed their Master of Science degree in Organic Chemistry from Andhra University in the years 1997 to 1999. Dr. Narender Rao later pursued a PG Diploma in Regulatory Affairs from the Institute of Pharmaceutical Management; however, the specific dates for this program are unknown. Dr. Somisetti also obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Organic Chemistry from Sri Krishnadevaraya University, though the timeframe for this degree is also unspecified.
