Evelyn Harford

Evelyn Harford is an accomplished reporter currently working at Metroland Media Group since September 2016, where responsibilities include writing human interest and business features, covering municipal politics and courts, and managing digital content. Evelyn has extensive freelance experience, blogging on environmentalism, international development, and human rights for various publications since February 2012. Prior reporting experience includes a position at the Ottawa Citizen, as well as an internship with CBC's The Fifth Estate, contributing to documentary production. Evelyn also held roles in academia as a teaching assistant at Carleton University and developed programs for Special Olympics Ontario. A Master's degree in Journalism was obtained from Carleton University, following a Bachelor's degree in International Relations and African Studies from the University of Toronto.
