Director Of Dispatching Operations at Metrolink Trains

Gail Davis has extensive work experience in the railroad industry. Gail started their career in 1997 as the Chief Dispatcher at BNSF Railway, where they gained valuable experience in managing train dispatching operations. In 2007, Gail joined the California Public Utilities Commission as a Program and Project Supervisor, where they supervised a team and worked on researching and analyzing rail safety regulations. In 2010, they moved to Metrolink as the Manager of Dispatching Operations, overseeing the Operations Control Center Dispatching and managing incident conference bridges. Gail's leadership skills led their to be promoted to the role of Director of Dispatching Operations at Metrolink in 2012, where they had broader responsibilities, including the operation of intercity trains and freight traffic, as well as implementing a new Computer Aided Dispatching system. Throughout their career, Gail has consistently demonstrated their expertise and dedication in managing and improving train dispatching operations.

Gail Davis completed their education in a chronological order. Gail first attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln from 1969 to 1974, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Comparative Literature. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix from 2001 to 2003. Finally, in 2011, Gail Davis completed a Rail Safety Certification program at the University of Southern California.
