Ken Weinberg has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Ken started their career in 2001 as the President of Internet Training Ground. From 2005 to 2012, they worked as a Senior Technical Writer and Training Developer at Oracle Corporation, where they managed documentation for software products. In 2012, they joined Metrolinx as a Sr. Client Change Management Lead, focusing on training and documentation for transit initiatives. In 2014, they became an Instructor at Humber College, teaching courses on project management and technical editing. Ken has also been actively involved in Toastmasters International, serving as President of various clubs and currently holding the position of Division Director. Additionally, they have held leadership positions at the Editors' Association of Canada and was a member of the Society for Technical Communications.
Ken Weinberg has a B-Tech degree in Electrical Engineering from Ryerson University, which they obtained between 1978 and 1988. In 2002, they completed a Certificate (Honours) in Teaching/Training Adults at Humber College. In 2009, they pursued a Certificate (Honours) in Project Management at Humber College, which they completed in 2013. Additionally, Ken Weinberg has a Certificate in Technical Communications from George Brown College, obtained between 2002 and 2005. In 2021, they obtained the Prosci® Certified Change Practitioner certification from Prosci.
