Ketul Patel

Ketul Patel, P.Eng., PMP, is an experienced project manager with a strong background in system safety assurance and engineering in the transportation sector. Currently serving as a Project Manager at Metrolinx, Ketul previously held positions including Safety Assurance Manager at Alstom and Technical Specialist at Thales, where responsibilities included managing signaling system design requirements and resolving systems integration issues. Ketul's expertise spans requirements specification and management throughout the system engineering life cycle, particularly in CBTC projects. A senior project engineer at WSP in Canada, Ketul managed design requirements and conducted reviews to ensure compliance. Prior experience includes roles at Bombardier Transportation, where designs for auxiliary power converters and battery systems were developed, and a research fellow position at ISRO, focusing on communication techniques. Ketul holds both a Master’s and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Dharmsinh Desai University and Sardar Patel University, respectively.
