Lawrence Wong

Lawrence Wong is a seasoned professional in property acquisition and assessment, currently serving as the Manager of Property Acquisition at Metrolinx since April 2021, where responsibilities include planning real estate acquisitions and overseeing coordination efforts. Prior to this role, Lawrence held several positions at The City of Calgary from 2007 to 2021, culminating in the role of Senior Assessor, which involved communicating assessment changes to stakeholders and managing the valuation process. Other roles at the City included Associate Assessor and Assessor, focusing on high-value properties and providing expert analysis for annual assessments. Lawrence holds an M.B.A. from the Haskayne School of Business, a Diploma in Urban Land Economics from the University of British Columbia, and a BSc in Biology from the University of Toronto.
