Matt Llewellyn

Matt Llewellyn is an experienced professional in communications and media, currently serving as the Senior Manager for Regional Control at Metrolinx, overseeing 24/7 Network Operations Control activities for GO Transit and UP Express since July 2018. Previous roles include Manager of Customer Communications at Metrolinx, leading a team focused on customer messaging, and a spokesperson and senior advisor in media relations at CBC/Radio-Canada. Matt's background in journalism includes positions as a news anchor, reporter, and producer at CBC, as well as freelance work for various publications. Additionally, Matt has experience in education as a video editing instructor at Mohawk College, and early career roles include chief photo editor at The Eyeopener and an internship at CHEK News. Education was completed at Ryerson University from 2007 to 2010.
