Matthew Clark

Matthew Clark serves as the Chief Capital Officer and Head of Capital Projects at Metrolinx, responsible for overseeing the $76 billion transit expansion in the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area. This role includes upgrading the existing rail network and constructing new rapid transit and subway lines. Prior to this, Matthew held the position of Executive Vice President focused on the Go Expansion Program. Matthew's experience also includes serving as Project Director and Operations Leader at Laing O’Rourke, where leadership was provided for major infrastructure alliances, including the £250 million Staffordshire Alliance and the £1.5 billion East West Rail Alliance. Earlier roles include Alliance Manager for significant projects in collaboration with organizations such as Network Rail and Transport for New South Wales, and Contracts Manager at Morgan Est Rail. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from the University of Nottingham.
