Rachel Tung is a seasoned professional in public finance and policy, currently serving as Manager & Senior Advisor in the Office of the Chief Financial Officer at Metrolinx since September 2023. In this role, Rachel successfully developed a transformation reporting reset strategy and launched an employee engagement strategy for over 800 individuals. Previously, Rachel held the position of Senior Economist at the Ontario Ministry of Finance, where promotion was achieved in less than a year due to exceptional strategic contributions and policy advice. Rachel's diverse experience includes roles such as Engagement and Communications Intern at the Platform for Accelerating the Circular Economy, Issues Coordinator, and Policy and Programs Assistant within the Ontario Ministry of Transportation. As the Founder and Co-Chair of Queen's Female Leadership In Politics, Rachel led initiatives to empower young women in political fields. Rachel holds a Master of Arts in International Relations from Leiden University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Studies from Queen's University, reflecting a strong academic foundation in the field.
