Tasnim Rahman

Tasnim Rahman, BASc, is currently an Engineer in Training in Engineering and Asset Management at Metrolinx since June 2023. Previously, Tasnim served as a Manufacturing Systems Engineer at Mother Parkers Tea & Coffee from May 2021 to September 2022, where a significant achievement included co-leading a $400K+ automation project involving RFP preparation, design reviews, project planning, budget assessment, and engineering qualifications. Tasnim also held the position of Mechatronics Division Lead with the University of Toronto Chemical Vehicles (UTCV) from September 2019 to May 2021, managing a team of 10 engineering students to design a chemical battery-based vehicle. Additional experience includes serving as a Research Assistant in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Toronto and as an Associate Member of the Bangladeshi Students' Association. Tasnim earned a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Toronto, graduating in April 2023, and holds a high school diploma from Winston Churchill Collegiate Institute.
