Richard Gill

Richard Gill is an accomplished Sr Software Engineer with extensive experience in J2EE development for web applications, currently employed at Metronome since April 2022 and Avid Technology Professionals since June 2008. Richard's technical expertise spans various tools and environments, including Java, Spring, and Hibernate, with a strong background in systems architecture from a previous position at CSC. Earlier roles include Principal Web Developer at Si-International, where Richard developed a Human Resource system for the Army, and Application Development/Support at Compuware Corporation, supporting NSF's proposal system. Richard holds a Master of Science in IT from Virginia Tech and multiple degrees from prestigious institutions, including a Bachelor of Recording Arts and Sciences and a Bachelor of Music from The Johns Hopkins University, along with an Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering.
