Suzana Patel

Suzana Patel, PharmD, has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Suzana began their career as a Pharmacy Technician at Duane Reade in 2008 and eventually worked their way up to become a Pharmacy Manager. In 2014, they joined Montefiore Health System as a Staff Pharmacist before transitioning to CCI as a CPhT Program Instructor. Suzana then joined Fidelis Care as a Medicare-FIDA Pharmacist, where they developed oversight processes and served as an SME for Medicare products. Suzana worked at New York-Presbyterian Hospital as a Pharmacist (Per Diem) before joining MetroPlusHealth in 2017. At MetroPlusHealth, they have held multiple roles, including Deputy Director of Pharmacy, Director of Pharmacy, and currently holds the position of Senior Director of Pharmacy. In their current role, they are responsible for implementing pharmacy benefit changes, improving clinical quality measures, and overseeing Medicare Part D operations.

Suzana Patel obtained their Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree in Pharmacy from St. John's University between the years 2006 and 2012.
