METROPOLITAN AIRPORT AUTHORITY OF PEORIA (MAAP) is a municipal corporation created under the laws of the State of Illinois.  MAAP owns and operates two airports:  the General Wayne A. Downing Peoria International Airport and the Mt. Hawley Auxiliary Airport.

Mt. Hawley Auxiliary Airport offers full service for business and general aviation.  Mt. Hawley boasts a 4,000 ft. runway, hangar rentals, self-service fuel and flying lessons.
