Yolanda Burckhardt is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in equity, advocacy, and program management. Currently serving as the Senior Equity Partner at the Metropolitan Airports Commission since May 2024, Yolanda previously held the position of Strategic Content Program Manager at Race Forward from November 2022 to April 2024. Yolanda's background includes managing advocacy and public engagement initiatives at Gender Justice, as well as supporting equity strategic plans at the Metropolitan Council of the Twin Cities. Yolanda's career also encompasses serving as a Senior Aide to Lieutenant Governor Tina Smith and experience as an Executive Assistant in the Office of Equal Opportunity. Additionally, Yolanda has facilitated leadership workshops as a Youth Program Coordinator with WISE and held administrative roles during academic tenure at Macalester College. Yolanda holds a Master of Human Rights from the Humphrey School of Public Affairs and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Community and Global Health from Macalester College.
