Monica Wirtz

Monica Wirtz is an accomplished nonprofit professional with extensive experience in leadership and development operations, primarily within Metropolitan Family Service since 2008. As the Director of Social Enterprise, Monica has played a pivotal role in launching innovative programs that align with MFS's mission. Previous positions include Director of Development Operations and Interim Director of Development, where Monica successfully nurtured donor relationships, orchestrated record-breaking fundraising campaigns, and guided development staff. Monica's background also includes serving as Development & Special Events Manager, where strategic event management and deepening donor engagement were key responsibilities. Earlier experience as a Wedding and Event Planner at The Lakeview House honed Monica's coordination and marketing skills. Monica holds a Master's degree in Education with a focus on Career and Community Counseling from Portland State University.
