Falastine Ghazzawi

Falastine Ghazzawi is an experienced legal advocate and court special advocate, currently serving at Metropolitan Family Services since May 2023 and as a domestic violence advocate at YWCA Metropolitan Chicago since December 2021. Falastine has held key roles at Upwardly Global, contributing to the leadership team since June 2021, and previously advocated for domestic violence victims at Arab American Family Services until May 2023. Additional experience includes serving as a legal advocate at Apna Ghar, Inc., and as a legal intern at ALMEZAN Center for Human Rights. Falastine also has outreach experience with Amnesty International. Falastine is pursuing a Doctor of Law degree at American University Washington College of Law, complementing prior advanced legal education with a Master of Laws from Wake Forest University.
