Senior EVP & Environmental & Sustainability Practice Leader at Metropolitan Group

Ezra Milchman is the Senior Executive Vice President at Metropolitan Group. Prior to this, they were the CEO & Operations Leader at River Network from January 2008 to December 2010. During their time at River Network, they were responsible for overall leadership of the organization and successfully oversaw a turn-around effort to bring the organization out of a prolonged period of contraction. Highlights from their time at River Network include recovering from negative revenues during the Great Recession, implementing strategic/business planning and new management controls, successfully overhauling branding, creating new corporate partnerships, and building federal agency sponsorships. Ezra also helped to improve internal culture, ultimately resulting in unity between Board and Staff and establishing true group understanding of spans of control, roles and accountability.

Ezra Milchman graduated from Tufts University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology & Environmental Science. Ezra then completed a certificate in Fundraising Management from Indiana University's Center for Philanthropy. Finally, they completed a Technology of Participation - Group Facilitation Methods program from the Institute for Cultural Affairs.
