Leila Scandar

Leila Scandar is an accomplished professional in the performing arts sector, currently serving as the Costumes, Wardrobe, Wigs and Makeup Administrator at the Metropolitan Opera since October 2022, where responsibilities include assisting with production management tasks. As a proud member of the Actors' Equity Association since 2018, Leila brings extensive experience from the John W. Engeman Theater at Northport, holding multiple roles such as Lighting Designer, Production Stage Manager, Assistant Stage Manager, and Dresser since September 2014. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Arts and Entertainment Management from Pace University, attained in 2023, and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre from Five Towns College, completed in 2014. Additional training includes attendance at the New York Film Academy in 2012.
