Clare Cook

Clare Cook is an accomplished Artistic Director at Clare Cook Dance Theater, where responsibilities include conceiving and choreographing original dance theater productions, as well as overseeing administrative tasks such as marketing, production, fundraising, and educational outreach since January 2012. Additionally, Clare serves as a Teaching Artist for the Metropolitan Opera Guild and has been a Pilates Teacher in the Tisch Dance Department at New York University since September 2008. Clare's teaching experience extends to Dancewave as a ballet and modern teaching artist since July 2012, and freelance choreography for various NYC theaters since May 2008. Clare has also taught modern dance at Louisiana State University and worked as a dance instructor and choreographer at DeLarue Dance Centre. Clare holds a Master of Fine Arts in Dance from New York University and a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication with a focus on Public Relations from Louisiana State University.
