Abel Moreno

Abel Moreno is a distinguished academic professional with extensive experience in the field of computer information systems and business analytics. Currently serving as Professor and Chair of the Department of Computer Information Systems and Business Analytics at Metropolitan State University of Denver since August 1997, Abel oversees an academic department with over 400 majors and a diverse faculty. Previously, as an Associate Professor, Abel lectured on various undergraduate courses and conducted research in operations management and quantitative methods. Earlier experience includes serving as Assistant Professor at North Dakota State University, where Abel taught undergraduate and MBA courses in operations research and international business. Abel holds a Ph.D. and M.Sc. in Industrial Engineering and Management from North Dakota State University and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Tecnológico de Monterrey.
