Andrew Detch

Andrew R. Detch is an experienced educator currently serving as a Lecturer at the University of Colorado Boulder since January 2016, with a focus on American History courses. Detch has previous experience as a Graduate Part-Time Instructor at the same institution, where responsibilities included syllabus development and instruction. Additionally, Detch holds a position as Affiliate Faculty at Metropolitan State University of Denver. Prior roles include tutoring NCAA Division 1 athletes at the University of Colorado Boulder's Herbst Academic Center and serving as a Dean of Boys and Founding Faculty at Thomas MacLaren Charter School. Detch earned a Ph.D. in History from the University of Colorado Boulder and holds a Master's degree in History from Brown University, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Classics from the University of Colorado Boulder.
