Terry Buxton

Terry Buxton, PhD, RN CNE, currently serves as a Professor and Nursing Department Chair at Metropolitan State University of Denver since August 2018. Previously, Terry held the position of Associate Professor at Regis University from August 2010 to July 2018, focusing on the design and instruction of various nursing courses, including online and hybrid formats. With a diverse background in nursing education and training, Terry has worked as an RN Trainer in Centura Health, a Consultant Reviewer for Distance Education and Training Council, and a Field Case Manager II at Broadspire. Additional experience includes roles at the US Postal Service, Washington State University, and several other educational institutions. Terry holds a PhD in Nursing Education and Leadership and has participated in various continuing education programs.
