Alberto Roldan is an experienced professional in government and community relations, currently serving as Assistant Director of Government and Community Relations at the Metropolitan Transportation Authority since December 2022. In this role, Alberto has successfully engaged over 3,000 seniors to promote reduced-fare OMNY and expanded outreach to additional language communities. Prior experience includes serving as Legislative Coordinator at the New York City Housing Authority, where Alberto oversaw intergovernmental affairs for Manhattan developments, organized significant capital reallocation, and managed a high caseload of constituent inquiries. Alberto also contributed to community outreach at the New York City Department of Consumer Affairs in various roles, including Deputy Director of Community Affairs, where relationships with stakeholders were cultivated, and key legislative initiatives were supported. Educational credentials include a Master’s degree in Urban Studies from Queens College and a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy and Law from Trinity College-Hartford.
