Dana Hecht

Dana Hecht, PMP, serves as Senior Vice President at the Metropolitan Transportation Authority since October 2021, bringing extensive experience in transportation project management. Previously, Dana held the position of Assistant Director and Program Director at The Port Authority of New York & New Jersey from October 2018 to October 2021. Before that, Dana was a Senior Program Manager for the Portal Bridge Program at NJ TRANSIT in early 2018. Dana's career at the New Jersey Department of Transportation spanned from November 1991 to February 2018, culminating in the role of Division Director for Project Management, overseeing the planning and execution of over a billion dollars in transportation infrastructure projects annually. Dana Hecht earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil and Construction Engineering from Temple University.
