Howard Daley Jr., known as DJ Howie D, has extensive experience in network cyber security and entertainment. Currently serving as a Senior Network Cyber Security Engineer at MTA HQ since February 1998, Daley is certified in CompTIA Security+ CE and Skyline CISCO CCNAX. In addition, Daley holds the position of Project Manager and Internship Director at New York City Transit, focusing on network security operations. As a contractor for DTS Entertainment Technology Solutions, Daley promotes community events and functions as a mobile DJ. With a background in competitive BBQ cooking, Daley has earned notable achievements in national competitions, including 6th place in the 2015 Memphis in May World Championship. Early career experiences include working as a mobile DJ for Inner City Broadcasting and serving in the US Army as an Electronic Warfare Systems Repairer. Daley studied at SUNY Brockport, specializing in computer systems and UNIX administration.
