Jacqueline Bruce

Jacqueline Bruce is an accomplished Chief Budget Officer at MTA New York City Transit, overseeing a $2.0 billion annual operating budget since 2003. With extensive experience in various leadership roles within the Department of Buses, Jacqueline has directed operations to ensure safe, reliable bus transportation services and implemented strategic improvements for operational efficiency and cost savings. Previous roles include Chief Financial Officer at TRANSCOM, where responsibility encompassed financial viability and organizational effectiveness, and various managerial positions at the Port Authority of NY & NJ and New York City Transit. Jacqueline holds a Master of Science in City & Regional Planning from Pratt Institute and a Bachelor of Arts in Urban Planning & Languages from New York University, complemented by participation in APTA Leadership programs.
