Mark Sproull

Mark Sproull is a Product Director for Data Science, Engineering, and Analytics at the Metropolitan Transportation Authority since January 2015, leading projects such as cloud-based Passenger Count Forecasts for Metro-North Railroad using Machine Learning and Databricks. Prior experience includes positions as Lead of Ticket Selling and Revenue at MTA-IT and as Assistant Director and Manager of Database Administration at Metro-North Railroad from August 2003 to January 2015. Mark is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Data Science at the University of Colorado Boulder and holds a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Penn State University.
