Sebastian Caceres is an experienced engineering consultant currently working at Accenture since March 2019. In the Consultant Development Program, Sebastian has built expertise in various engineering projects. As a mechanic for VEX Robotics Competitions since August 2014, notable achievements include designing autonomous robots, training teammates in CAD software, and achieving three regional championship titles as well as a worldwide ranking of 4th in 2016. Previous experiences include a senior capstone project at Edwards Lifesciences, developing a thermo-dry test bench for cardiac catheters, and roles at the National Science Foundation as a data analyst and computer science intern, where projects involved creating a Solr-based search engine and utilizing R for data analysis. Additionally, internships at Stryker involved drafting process validations and designing manufacturing fixtures. Sebastian earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from both the University of Puerto Rico-Mayaguez and New York University.
