Brian D'Amico has extensive work experience in the field of aviation and air service development. Brian'smost recent role was as the Director of Airline Business Development at the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority. Prior to that, they worked as the Aviation Marketing and Communications Supervisor at the Port of Oakland, where they successfully added four new airlines to the airport's roster.
Brian also has experience at the San Diego County Regional Airport Authority, where they served as the Program Manager for Air Service Development and later as an Air Service Network Strategist. Brian was responsible for analyzing data and making cases for new airline services on behalf of airport clients.
Earlier in their career, Brian worked at AvPORTS as the Interim Director of Air Service & Business Development and later as the Manager of Business Development. Brian played a key role in sourcing new airport development and management opportunities and expanding the company portfolio.
Brian's work experience also includes roles as an Aviation Planning Intern at the Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission, a Planning Intern at the Philadelphia International Airport, a Legislative Aide at the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, and an Economic Development Intern at Progress Alliance.
Throughout their career, Brian has demonstrated strong analytical and strategic skills, successfully adding new airlines to airport rosters and expanding business portfolios.
Brian D'Amico completed their education with a Master of City Planning degree in Transportation Planning from the University of Pennsylvania in 2011. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Humanities & Catholic Culture and Spanish from Franciscan University of Steubenville in 2009.
